My name is Megan and I am 48 years of age. I live in Ballarat Victoria Australia. I have been crafting since 2015 when I had a large ischemic stroke. I was down and out for quite some time. I had to learn to walk, talk eat and well everything about life again.

I also learned I could not do as much as I wanted anymore so I had to find a hobby.
A good friend took me in and showed me how to create with papercraft and learned to make some Christmas cards one year. I really enjoyed the process ever since I've not stopped learning. I have met some amazing friends in the papercraft community from being a Kaszazz consultant and now to a Stampin up Demonstrator the process of learning, sense of achievement and being inspired continues.

So I created creativity matters by Megan raising awareness, and conversation supporting disability services, as now I have further more complications from stroke that will never go away such as living with epilepsy now, but thank heavens I can craft. 

I am really greatful for you all joining me and supporting me on this wild ride, if possible a small donation to help us support Disability and Mental Health Awareness would be amazing and even better if we can top our goal for our round of 2023 online show, I hope this will be an online yearly event in the comfort of our own surroundings weather it be a class you decide to host and help us support the cause or simply in  the comfort of your own home all is welcome.

Due to my stroke I now have further more complications I live with like epilepsy that is why I support Epilepsy awareness  that shares ongoing information that can assist with different situations anytime.
